All around me is chaos.
Frustration and annoyance are lessons.
All obstacles are tools for learning.
Make today a day of mindfulness. Choose to wake up from the perpetual daydream, literally come to your senses, and remain connected to the actual lived experience of your physical world as continuously as possible. Be gentle, be patient, but be resolute. Touch each unfolding moment lightly - stay with the present moment. When you realize you've gotten lost in the stream of ceaseless mental activity, simply note (with kindness) "thinking," and open your awareness again to this moment - and this one, and this one, and this one.
You can always use awareness of the breath to connect you to the present moment, but any of your sensory experiences will do.
